Ceremonial groundbreaking: ebm-papst builds new plant in the USA

With a groundbreaking ceremony on September 28, 2021, ebm-papst has officially begun construction of a new production plant in Telford, TN, about 20 minutes away from their current US location in Johnson City, TN. The company is investing around 15 million dollars for the new building.

ebm-papst acquired the 30 acres of land on which the new plant will be built three years ago. Upon its completion in the summer of 2022, the building will be 170,000 sq. ft. in size and house a staff of 120 for fan and motor production.

This global market leader in air movement and drive engineering technology has been manufacturing fans for refrigeration, air conditioning and ventilation applications in the US state of Tennessee since 2019.
